The application form and essay as well as the optional scholarship application and essay must be completed online through our SurveyMonkey application process:

Before you begin the online application process, please prepare an answer to the following essay question:
Why do you want to participate in the STEM Summer Institute for Girls?  What is about the description of the program that excites you?  What parts of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics do you already enjoy?  What are some examples of how you have worked well in a team in one of your classes?

Additionally, you will need the name and email address of one teacher who has agreed to send in a recommendation form for you.  Returning applicants will not be required to complete this step.
